Packing List
- Passport (Must not expire for at least 6 months after date of arrival)
- Small tent
- Ant/Roach Spray (helps to keep those pesky critters out of your tent)
- Air mattress or cot, sheet(s) and/or sleeping bag, pillow
- Water bottle We will provide purified water for drinking
- Tennis shoes and flip-flops
- Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen; insect repellant
- Flashlight and batteries
- Some stores sell a light,which attaches to your tent by a magnet (optional, but helpful)
- Camera and film
- Bible
- You may bring your favorite snacks (in Ziplocs) - for a needed boost between meals.
- Plastic bags to pack dirty clothes in
- Pack at least one set of clean clothes in a plastic bag for your trip home
(You will be glad you did everything gets dirty and dusty.)
- Personal Toiletries and Medical Supplies
- 1 roll of toilet paper For emergencies...
- Immodium, Band-Aids, Tylenol
- Small bottle of baby powder with corn starch (for rashes)
- Women: sanitary pads, tampons (you never know)
- Anti-bacterial hand cleanser there often is no water for washing up
- Wet wipes Very refreshing when no showers are available; deodorant
- Other personal medications
- Towel(s)
